Since the early days when the sport was anything but a mainstream endeavor, the MMA industry has thrived and survived through various websites, forums and, perhaps most importantly, social-media platforms.

Fighters interact with fans, each other and many more through the likes of Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, which helps outsiders get a deeper look into the minds of the athletes.

Following Friday’s Bellator 229 event in Temecula, Calif., several of the winning and losing fighters, along with their coaches, training partners or family members, took to social media to react to the event or share a message with supporters.

I put it all out there tonight. I left it all in the cage til it was done. And this is still just the beginning for me as a pro. There are two fights left on my current contract, and I intend to continue to demonstrate why I belong in one of the premier organizations of Mixed Martial Arts. I loved being in the cage. I truly enjoyed my fight during the fight (those knees though, damn girl). There’s tons of adjustments I can and will make. I did a lot of things well! I’m proud of myself for fighting my heart out the whole entire fight. Til it’s done. No quit in me whatsoever. Never entered my mind. Not making excuses but I got (TMI alert) really bad diarrhea AND my period the night before the fight. I overcame a lot of adversity during the camp, before and during the fight. I can honestly say I love fighting. I proved my toughness. I’ll prove my winning ability too. I’m here to stay. TFU gonna keep showing the world what MemphisAF is all about. Дорогие друзья, вот и прошёл мой бой! Конечно результат меня не радует (поражение раздельным решением судей) Но за бой мне не стыдно! Как раз в таких сражениях спортсмен растёт, если в случае поражения правильно делает выводы! Я не считаю, что бой проиграл, но и сказать, что я победил, тоже не могу! Справедливым решением было бы присудить ничью, но это мое мнение. Спасибо всем за поддержку! Хочу поблагодарить своего наставника @alexandershlemenko Александра Шлеменко за его работу, заботу, за ту эмоциональную прокачку перед боем, которая дала мне энергию и помогла настроиться!
