Bellator 232 reactions: Winning and losing fighters on social media

Since the early days when the sport was anything but a mainstream endeavor, the MMA industry has thrived and survived through various websites, forums and, perhaps most importantly, social-media platforms.

Fighters interact with fans, each other and many more through the likes of Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, which helps outsiders get a deeper look into the minds of the athletes.

Following Saturday’s Bellator 232 event in Uncasville, Conn., several of the winning and losing fighters, along with their coaches, training partners or family members, took to social media to react to the event or share a message with supporters.

Check out some of those reactions.

Wow!!!!! What a night!!!! First and foremost all Glory and Honor to God for bringing me out victorious. He set all this up and for me to be victorious, he blessed my whole camp, I felt his love and protection all the way thru. I wanna encourage anyone out there that if your going through a season of adversity to hold fast to your faith because if he can use me he most definitely could use you. I’m so overwhelmed by all the love, and prayers. Thank you to everyone who supports my journey. Thank you to my opponent for bringing out the best in me, I wish him nothing but the best. My goal in this journey is to represent my faith, my people and my community and hopefully I did that last night. I’m excited for whatever step God has me take next. Thank you to @bellatormma for putting such an awesome week of mixed martial arts, hopefully I did enough to earn a spot on their roster. Thank you to my team @jacksonwink_mma for all the help in camp, thank you to my coaches @franklinjones_ and @harrystleger, I wouldn’t wanna go to battle with anyone else than those 2 great gentlemen. Thank you to my @american_elite_mma family for supporting me and helping me grow as a martial artist when I’m home. Thank you to all my amazing sponsors for constantly believing and supporting my journey. Thank you to my dope nutritionist @john_poppie & @jay_x52_ @lockhartandleith for making this cut the best I’ve ever had. For now I will rest and enjoy what has transpired but understand this I am nowhere near done, I will continue to shoot for the stars. @rich_chou @therealscottcoker #mma #dragon #kiowa #blessed #favored #hardwork #bellator #home #indigenous #oklahoma #mixedmartialartist #jacksonwinkmma #rolemodel #anointed #striking #grappling #wrestling
