Bellator 268 faceoff video highlights: Grand prix semifinalists get final chance to size up
PHOENIX – The table is set for Saturday’s Bellator 268 event after the conclusion of ceremonial weigh-ins.
Hours after the athletes officially weighed in on Friday morning, the ceremonial session took place where the 11 scheduled matchups had a final faceoff.
The stakes are high atop the card, which takes place at Footprint Center and airs on Showtime following prelims on MMA Junkie, with the semifinals of the light heavyweight grand prix set to unfold. Champ Vadim Nemkov (13-2 MMA, 6-0 BMMA) puts his 205-pound belt on the line vs. tournament alternate Julius Anglickas (10-1 MMA, 3-0 BMMA) on one side of the bracket, while Ryan Bader (28-6 MMA, 6-1 BMMA) and Corey Anderson (15-4 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) clash on the opposing side.
Everyone has remained largely professional in the lead-up to fight night, and things were no difference at the staredowns.
