Chris Gonzalez ‘definitely looking to contend’ for Bellator lightweight belt soon, hopes ‘Pitbull’ is ready
LOS ANGELES – Chris Gonzalez spoke to the media ahead of Bellator 263 at Wednesday’s media day.
Gonzalez (6-0 MMA, 5-0 BMMA) discussed being happy that he got a top-five matchup in Goiti Yamauchi, having “no regrets” pivoting from the Olympic wrestling trials to pursue MMA, “definitely looking to contend for the (lightweight) belt soon” vs. Patricio Freire, and more.
