Julie Kedzie breaks down Invicta FC 45 and atomweight title fight on MMA Junkie
It’s been more than four months since the most recent Invicta FC event, but the promotion returns this week in a big way.
Invicta FC 45 takes place Wednesday with a title fight in the main event. And for the first time, the promotion will stream the event exclusively here at MMA Junkie. The event goes down at the Police Athletic League in Kansas City, Kan.
In the headliner, atomweight champion Alesha Zappitella (9-2) puts her 105-pound belt on the line against challenger Jessica Delboni (11-3). The fight is a rematch from May 2021, when Zappitella beat Delboni with a split decision.
Ahead of the title fight and the event on MMA Junkie, former fighter and current Invicta broadcaster Julie Kedzie, who will be on the call, broke down the event and the Invicta FC landscape with MMA Junkie Radio’s “Gorgeous” George Garcia and Brian “Goze” Garcia.
