Edmen Shahbazyan (10-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC), who’s managed by Ronda Rousey, is steamrolling the opposition at 21. In his third octagon appearance, Shahbazyan finished seasoned veteran Jack Marshman (23-9 MMA, 3-4 UFC) in just 72 seconds.

Marshman appeared to be holding his own on his feet, but he was quickly taken down by “The Golden Boy,” who pounded him from overhead before using a transition to take the back and secure the fight-ending rear-naked choke.

Kayla Harrison def. Morgan Frier at PFL 2019, Week 4

After going the distance for the first time in her previous bout, Kayla Harrison (5-0) returned to her finishing ways against Morgan Frier (4-3) with a submission win inside the first round.

Harrison wasted no time putting her opponent on the mat in the women’s lightweight contest. From there, she advanced position and made Frier vulnerable. Harrison isolated an arm and secured the Americana to force Frier to tap in just over three minutes.

Gavin Tucker (11-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) returned to the same building where he took a memorable beatdown and conquered his demons with an impressive finish of Seungwoo Choi (7-3 MMA, 0-2 UFC) in their featherweight matchup.

After an enjoyable two rounds of action, Tucker pursued the finish in the third round of the contest. He managed to find his way onto Choi’s back and sunk in a rear-naked choke that elicited the tap out.

Rodrigo Nascimento def. Michal Martinek at DWCS 22

Heavyweight Rodrigo Nascimento (7-0) returned from nearly two years on the sidelines to score a first-round submission win over a previously unbeaten Michal Martinek (7-1).

The Winner: Kayla Harrison

Two-time Olympic judo gold medalist Harrison took a big step toward achieving her first big MMA goal at PFL 2019, Week 4.

Harrison put in a swift and efficient effort against Frier. Harrison outstruck an overmatched Morgan Frier 28-0 as she worked into a position for an Americana submission victory at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, N.J.

The time of the stoppage came when Frier tapped at 3:35 of the opening round.

“I really wish I would have kept it on my feet a little longer but my instincts take over, it is something I’m working on,” Harrison said after her fourth career stoppage victory. “The submission was probably there earlier in the round but I really like hitting people since I was never allowed to in Judo. I’m going to be the best, I’m going to be even better than Khabib (Nurmagomedov) when I am done.”
