UFC 259 post-event facts: Amanda Nunes adds milestone record to GOAT resume
The UFC’s biggest event of 2021 so far went own Saturday with UFC 259, which took place at the UFC Apex at Las Vegas and aired on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+.
Three championship fights were featured on the card, but the main event occupied most of the attention with Jan Blachowicz (28-8 MMA, 11-5 UFC) successfully defending his light heavyweight belt for the first time in a unanimous decision over middleweight titleholder Israel Adesanya (20-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC).
