LAS VEGAS – Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor faced off for the first time ahead of Saturday’s UFC 264 trilogy bout following the pre-fight press conference.
After answering questions from the media on Thursday at T-Mobile Arena, Poirier (27-6 MMA, 19-5 UFC) and McGregor (22-5 MMA, 10-3 UFC) had the first of two fight week staredowns.

UFC president Dana White was in the center of the faceoff, which can be viewed in the video above.
UFC 264 will mark the rubber match between the two lightweight contenders after McGregor won the first meeting by first-round TKO at UFC 178 in September 2014, with Poirier taking the rematch by second-round TKO at UFC 257 in January.
