USA TODAY Sports/MMA Junkie rankings, June 7: Movsar Evloev enters top 10
The featherweight division has a new entrant into the top 10.
At UFC Fight Night 207, Movsar Evloev kept his perfect professional record alive by taking out Dan Ige in a dominant performance. The win marked the Russian’s sixth victory under the UFC banner, and his biggest to date in a co-main event slot. This week, he moves from the No. 14 spot and settles in at No. 10.
The main event at the UFC Apex saw heavyweight contender Alexander Volkov pick up a first-round TKO stoppage of Jairzinho Rozenstruik. While some question the stoppage, Volkov gets back into the win column in his second fight of 2022. He maintains his No. 7 spot while Rozenstruik falls from No. 9 to No. 11.
