Video: Should Nick Diaz keep fighting after UFC 266 loss to Robbie Lawler?
Nick Diaz’s return didn’t go as planned at UFC 266.
One of the biggest stars in MMA made his long-awaited return to the octagon on Saturday’s event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. He had some solid moments in the fight, but ultimately Diaz (26-10 MMA, 7-7 UFC) suffered a third-round TKO loss to Robbie Lawler (29-15 MMA, 14-9 UFC), who he’d beaten in their first meeting back in April 2004.
Many believed Diaz would never step back in a UFC cage after more than six years away from fighting. He finally did it, but there were many questions about his motives throughout a curious fight week.
