Watch Irene Aldana knock out Ketlen Vieira with wicked left at UFC 245
Irene Aldana had one impressive showing on Saturday night.
The bantamweight fighter picked up the biggest win of her young career in the preliminary card of UFC 245 in Las Vegas. Aldana (12-5 MMA, 5-3 UFC) stopped top contender Ketlen Vieira (10-0 MMA, 4-1 UFC) with a huge left hook with just seconds remaining in the first round of their 135-pound contest. The result marked Vieira’s first professional loss and also Aldana’s first KO in the UFC.
The Mexico native is 5-1 in her last six bouts with her lone loss being a close split-decision to former title challenger Raquel Pennington.
