UFC on ABC 1’s Li Jingliang touts Zhang Weili’s title reign as game changer for MMA in China
ABU DHABI – Li Jingliang spoke to the media on Wednesday ahead of UFC on ABC 1.
Jingliang (17-6 MMA, 9-4 UFC) discussed his welterweight bout with Santiago Ponzinibbio (27-3 MMA, 9-2 UFC), how fellow Chinese fighter Zhang Weili winning a UFC title has altered the popularity of the sport in China, his hopes to rebound from a loss and more.
UFC on ABC 1 takes place Saturday at Etihad Arena. The main card airs on ABC and ESPN+ following prelims on ESPN+.
