LAS VEGAS – Askar Askarov answered media questions on Wednesday ahead of his bout at UFC 259.
Askarov (12-0-1 MMA, 2-0-1 UFC) discussed his flyweight matchup with Joseph Benavidez (28-7 MMA, 15-5 UFC), who the best opponent on his resume is, what is at stake for him at UFC 259, and fighting as a hearing-impaired athlete.
UFC 259 takes place Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The main card streams on ESPN+ pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+.
