Francis Ngannou was able to exact his revenge on Stipe Miocic in spectacular fashion.
Ngannou (16-3 MMA, 11-2 UFC) claimed the heavyweight title from Miocic (20-4 MMA, 14-4 UFC) in the main event of UFC 260, as he stopped the reigning champion with a huge second-round knockout.
This time, Ngannou was able to present a much more composed and patient version of himself. He was able to easily stuff Miocic’s first takedown attempt and made him pay in brutal fashion when they engaged in the pocket early in Round 2, where “The Predator” was able to catch a lunging Miocic and knock him out.
