To say Dustin Poirier has been on a tear the past six or so years might be an understatement.
Since a knockout loss to Conor McGregor in September 2014, Poirier has gone 11-2, and seven of those wins have been finishes. His only losses in that stretch came to Michael Johnson in a surprise upset and all-time great Khabib Nurmagomedov in a title bid – and most would say there’s no shame in that one.
Poirier also has nine post-fight bonus awards since that first loss to McGregor, which he avenged in January with a bonus-winning knockout at UFC 257.
A week from now, Poirier (27-6 MMA, 19-5 UFC) runs it back with McGregor (22-5 MMA, 10-3 UFC) in a trilogy fight that headlines UFC 264 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+.
Ahead of the highly anticipated rubber match, the UFC has compiled all of Poirier’s finishes in the UFC – of which he has 12 in his 19 wins across the featherweight and lightweight divisions.
Check out all those finishes in the video above.
