The UFC is officially returning to Abu Dhabi for UFC 267 on Oct. 30 at Etihad Arena.
During the global pandemic, Abu Dhabi played host to a blockbuster two-week stretch of events in July 2020, which included four events and the introduction of “Fight Island.”
The events took place behind closed doors at the du Forum, where the promotion kicked things off with UFC 251 headlined by a welterweight title fight between champion Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal. The month was capped off by a pivotal middleweight clash between former champion Robert Whittaker and Darren Till.
Since then, the UFC returned to Abu Dhabi for five events behind closed doors at the du Forum in late September through to October, which marked Khabib Nurmagomedov’s final fight in the octagon.
Finally this past January, the brand new Etihad Arena was introduced, where a limited number of fans were able to attend three events in one week, including one of the biggest rematches in UFC history between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor.
UFC 267 will mark the return of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week, where a series of fan events, fitness showcases and much more are set to take place starting Oct. 21.

LAS VEGAS – Victor Henry is back in the win column. This time, he avoided getting kicked in the testicles – and that feels good. On the UFC on ESPN 55 prelims, Henry (24-6 MMA, 3-1 UFC) defeated seasoned veteran Rani Yahya (28-12-1 MMA, 13-6-1 UFC) with a barrage...
