LAS VEGAS – Alex Morono is a man with a plan.
The UFC welterweight is hoping to stay busy this year and capitalize on the momentum of his most high-profile win. Morono (19-7 MMA, 8-4 UFC) is coming off a TKO of MMA legend Donald Cerrone in May, and wants to keep the ball rolling.
The 31-year-old returns to the octagon this Saturday, as he takes on David Zawada (17-6 MMA, 1-3 UFC) on the main card of UFC Fight Night 191. The event takes place at the UFC Apex and entire card is set to stream on ESPN+.
Morono spoke to the media about his return, wanting to fight again in December, his teammate Ricky Turcios winning “The Ultimate Fighter 29” and much more.
You can watch Morono’s complete UFC Fight Night 191 media day interview in the video above.
