Norma Dumont made good on her first UFC main event experience on Saturday when she definitively beat Aspen Ladd at UFC Fight Night 195.
Dumont (7-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) showed she’s the top contender in the women’s featherweight division courtesy of a unanimous decision win over Ladd (9-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Given the extremely thin nature of the weight class, there’s nowhere for Dumont to go but up, and that means she’s looking right at a championship fight with fellow Brazilian Amanda Nunes.
Is that the logical move for her, though? Watch the video above for thoughts and analysis on Dumont’s future after UFC Fight Night 195.
The UFC handed out four bonuses after Saturday’s card, rewarding four main card stoppages. After UFC on ESPN 55, four fighters took home an extra $50,000 for their performances at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Check out the winners below.
