A women’s featherweight fight, a rarity, is in the works for the first UFC event of May.
On May 7, Macy Chiasson and Norma Dumont will collide, pending bout finalization. The event is expected to take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, though no official announcement has been made at this time.
No other fights have yet been made public for the May 7 event.

Dumont (7-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) has racked up wins in the UFC since her promotional debut loss against Megan Anderson in February 2020. Three consecutive victories included Ashlee Evans-Smith, Felicia Spencer, and most recently Aspen Ladd in her first UFC headlining bout. All of those wins came by decision.
