Curtis Blaydes left the UFC Fight Night 208 main event as the winner against Tom Aspinall, but it did not come in the manner in which he would’ve liked.
Blaydes’ (17-3 MMA, 12-3 UFC) winning streak was extended to three fights when Aspinall (12-3 MMA, 5-1 UFC) suffered a sudden and devastating knee injury just 15 seconds into the heavyweight fight at The O2 in London.
It’s not the ideal way for a fighter to get his hand raised, but Blaydes nevertheless moves forward in the division with a win on the record, and is set up for another big fight on the horizon.
Whom should Blaydes face next? Watch the video above for thoughts and analysis on his future after UFC Fight Night 208.
