UFC 300 video: BMF champ Justin Gaethje, Max Holloway cordial in press conference faceoff
LAS VEGAS – Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway are still two days out from their BMF title fight at UFC 300, but the intensity already is elevated.
Gaethje (25-4 MMA, 8-4 UFC) will attempt to become the first to defend the BMF belt when he meets former featherweight champion Holloway (25-7 MMA, 21-7 UFC) in a five-round lightweight bout Saturday at T-Mobile Arena (pay-per-view, ESPN, ESPN+).
The anticipation for the matchup is off the charts, and both men appeared focused on the task at hand. Their body language showed as much Thursday, when Gaethje and Holloway crossed paths for a staredown following the UFC 300 pre-fight press conference.
