“I wanted to come in here and make a statement. I feel like I made a statement, but I wanted to finish. I don’t ask for easy fights. I always want to fight the best, but I really wanted to stop him. I thought he was going to have a weaker chin, but he did great.”
“I’ve been going to decision too much lately, but I’m ready for anything. I dominated all three rounds and felt good in there. I’m going to go back and fix some mistakes, but I’m constantly improving. I’m back. Put some respect on my name. … I love this so much. It’s everything to me. This has been my Plan A from Day One.”
“I want to get right back in there. I want to be back as soon as possible and I really want to fight Paulo Costa. I think it would be a really good fight. Let’s do it. He doesn’t take a step back and I don’t step back. We both throw hands. Let’s do it. It’s going to be fireworks.”
