NEWARK, N.J. – Mickey Gall has a wide arsenal of submission skills, and he showed off some of his playbook at Wednesday’s UFC on ESPN 5 open workouts.
Ahead of facing Salim Touahri (10-3 MMA, 0-2 UFC) on Saturday in a welterweight matchup, Gall (5-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC), who fights in his home state at Prudential Center, decided to get interactive with the fans who showed up to support him.
Gall requested the crowd to yell out any submission technique that came to his mind, and he subsequently went out and executed it on his willing training partner.
Although Gall has finished fights in MMA with a rear-naked choke, he proved there’s more in his back pocket should he need it.
Check out the video above as Gall soaked up the crowd at UFC on ESPN 5 open workouts.
