Sabina Mazo says UFC 241 win over Shana Dobson was first of many
ANAHEIM, Calif. – Sabina Mazo beat Shana Dobson with a lopsided unanimous decision Saturday to open the preliminary card at UFC 241 in Anaheim, Calif.

Mazo on the fight’s key moment
“I think I just didn’t trust my ground skills enough in my other (UFC) fight. The ground game is one of the first things I did when I got into fighting. I always kept training jiu-jitsu, so I just had to trust my game a little more and put it out there.”
Mazo on fighting in California
“I think I’m undefeated when fighting here in California, but I can fight anywhere. It’s nice to have fans and my training partners here cheering me on.”
Mazo on what she wants next
“Getting my first win feels amazing. It feels right. It is one of many, and now we’re off to a good start. … I’m just going to keep training and keep fighting. I’m young and have so much time ahead of me.”
