Michael Johnson’s lightweight return vs. Stevie Ray among new UFC on ESPN+ 20 bouts
The UFC has confirmed number of fights to its return to Singapore in October in addition to confirming the welterweight headliner between Ben Askren and Demian Maia.
Among the most notable is a bout between Michael Johnson (19-14 MMA, 11-10 UFC), who is set to return to the lightweight division after a four fight stint at featherweight, against Stevie Ray (22-9 MMA, 6-4 UFC).
UFC on ESPN+ 20 takes place Oct. 26 at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore. The main card will stream on ESPN+.
Other additions to the card include a pair of heavyweight fights. “The Ultimate Fighter 28” cast member Maurice Green (8-2 MMA, 3-0 UFC) looks to stay unbeaten in the octagon against former Fight Nights Global champion Sergei Pavlovich (13-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC), while Ciryl Gane (4-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) look to build off a successful UFC debut against newcomer Don’Tale Mayes (6-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC).
The latest UFC on ESPN+ 20 lineup now includes:
- Demian Maia vs. Ben Askren
- Michael Johnson vs. Stevie Ray
- Sergei Pavlovich vs. Maurice Greene
- Ciryl Gane vs. Don’Tale Mayes
