A heavyweight championship bout headlined the event, though is ended in anticlimactic fashion when Ryan Bader (27-5 MMA, 5-0 BMMA) vs. Cheick Kongo (30-10-2 MMA, 12-2 BMMA) was deemed a no-contest after an accidental eye poke brought the fight to an end in the first round.

For more on the numbers behind Bader vs. Kongo, as well as the other fights on the card, check below for 30 post-event facts from Bellator 226.
