Watch Cain Velasquez take talents to WWE, tackle Brock Lesnar on FOX debut

It appears Cain Velasquez is taking his talents to the WWE.

The former UFC champion has dabble in professional wrestling over the past few months, but Friday night he took things to a whole new level.

In the final moments of WWE’s highly anticipated FOX debut, Velasquez made an unexpected appearance to confront old rival Brock Lesnar – the man he initially won the UFC heavyweight title from.

Moments into the main event, Lesnar hit an F-5 on opponent Kofi Kingston. The move was enough to get the three-count and Lesnar was awarded the WWE Undisputed Champion. As he postured in celebration, Lesnar was met with the theme music of Rey Mysterio.

With Mysterio by his side, Velasquez walked out and ripped off his shirt. Shortly after Velasquez entered the squared circle, he charged at Lesnar and hit a double leg takedown. In vintage Velasquez fashion, the Mexican MMA fighter-turned-pro wrestler rained down ground-and-pound on Lesnar.

Lesnar scrambled under the bottom rope and exited the ring. Once outside, “The Beast Incarnate” engaged in a stare-down with Velasquez and hesitated to reenter. As Mysterio and Velasquez celebrated, Lesnar turned and strolled back up the entrance stage into the locker rooms.

According to a report from ESPN.com, Velasquez has yet to officially sign a contract with WWE. However, he intends to focus on professional wrestling, supporting the MMA Junkie report of his plan to withdraw from the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) testing pool.
