Invicta FC 38 live results
Invicta FC returns to action Friday night, as the all-women’s promotion returns to its home base of Kansas City, Kan. for Invicta FC 38.
The card was scheduled to be headlined by flyweight champion Vanessa Porto vs. Karina Rodriguezin what was initially scheduled to be a five-round title fight. However, Rodriguez missed weight on Thursday. As a result, Rodriguez forfeits 25 percent of her purse, and the bout has been changed to a three-round, non-title affair.
As a side effect of the weight miss, the bout which was originally scheduled to be the evening’s co-feature, Kanako Murata vs. Emily Ducote for the vacant strawweight title, will now be the main event.
Invicta FC 38 airs on UFC Fight Pass and begins at 8 p.m. ET.
