After losing their broadcast partnership with AXS TV in September, Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) finally has a new home.
LFA, who was forced to temporarily postpone all of their events following the AXS TV termination, will now be streamed on UFC Fight Pass. The deal was announced during the UFC 244 preliminary card broadcast on Saturday.
The promotion will finish 2019 with two events LFA 78 and LFA 79, both of which will stream on UFC Fight Pass. No further details on the terms of the partnership were announced.
LFA 78 takes place Friday, Nov. 15 at Bell County Expo Center in Belton, Texas. The event is currently headlined by up-and-coming bantamweights Adrian Yanez (9-3) and Kyle Estrada (10-4). “Dana White: Lookin’ For a Fight” alumnus Hailey Cowan (4-1) is also set to compete against opponent Lisa Mauldin (3-1).
Closing out LFA’s 2019 schedule, LFA 79 takes place Nov. 22 at 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colo. The main event features former LFA flyweight title challenger Brandon Royval (9-4) as he takes on Jared Scoggins (9-1) in a 125-pound matchup. Also on the card, undefeated Georgian Zviad Lazisvili (11-0) takes on seasoned veteran Josh Huber (24-10).
LFA, the product of a 2016 merger between Legacy Fighting Championship (Legacy FC) and Resurrection Fighting Alliance (RFA), has produced numerous UFC and Bellator veterans. Alumni include Curtis Blaydes, Derrick Lewis, Dominick Reyes, Maycee Barber, Brian Ortega, Henry Cejudo, Geoff Neal, Valentina Shevchenko, Holly Holm, and more.
