How much taunting is too much?
At Friday’s Cage Warriors 111, Joilton Santos pushed the limits and might’ve gone too far. The 27-year-old welterweight fighter took on Alex Lohore on the main-card opener.
In the opening minute, Santos (31-8 MMA) tagged Lohore (18-5 MMA) with an overhand right. Lohore landed on all fours, where he was met with a series of follow-up shots by his Brazilian opponent. Referee Leon Roberts stopped the fight after seven or eight punches landed, but Santos decided to add insult to injury.
As Lohore staggered to his feet, the Germany-based Santos taunted his stunned foe. Santos signaled for Lohore to keep his mouth shut and made faces at the Englishman who was being held up by the referee.

With the victory, Santos has won seven of his most recent eight outings. As for Lohore, the Englishman now has dropped two out of his last three fights.
