Drew Dober hopes Islam Makhachev fight at UFC 259 sets up main event vs. Rafael dos Anjos
LAS VEGAS – Drew Dober answered media questions on Wednesday ahead of his bout at UFC 259.
Dober (23-9 MMA, 10-4 UFC) discussed his lightweight matchup with Islam Makhachev (18-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC), the hype around his opponent, why his change in mentality has led to a successful run of performances, and his hope to get a summer main event with Rafael dos Anjos if he wins.
UFC 259 takes place Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The main card streams on ESPN+ pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+.
