Invicta FC returns to action for a slate of fights on Wednesday evening and you can watch the action right here on MMA Junkie.
At Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kan., Invicta FC 47 features seven fights at the event, headlined by a strawweight title bout between champion Emily Ducote and former atomweight champion Alesha Zappitella.
Ducote (10-6) enters Wednesday’s title fight on the heels of two straight wins over Juliana Lima and Danielle Taylor. The win over Taylor at Invicta FC 44 was an incredible first-round head kick finish that claimed the vacant strawweight title.
Zappitella (9-3, 1 NC) steps back up to 115 pounds to challenge for another title under the Invicta banner. The former atomweight champion won four-straight bouts in 2020-21, including a title-clinching victory over Jessica Delboni at Invicta on AXS TV last May.
The co-main event features Courtney King (4-2) taking on Chelsea Chandler (3-1) in the lone featherweight bout of the evening.
