Curtis Blaydes reinforced his position as an elite heavyweight contender on Saturday when he definitively beat Chris Daukaus in the UFC on ESPN 33 main event.
Blaydes (16-3 MMA, 10-4 UFC) shocked everyone when he put Daukaus (12-5 MMA, 4-2 UFC) away by TKO in the second round at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, and did it without the help of a single takedown attempt. It was a statement performance from “Razor,” and one that put him in the conversation for a massive fight next.
