Nate Diaz to Eddie Hearn after Jake Paul fight criticism: ‘I’ll beat all your fighters’ asses’

Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn didn’t have anything good to say about the fight between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz, which has prompted the type of response you’d expect from the former UFC star.

Paul and Diaz went 10 rounds in a highly anticipated boxing grudge match earlier this month, with Paul outpointing Diaz for a unanimous decision win by scores of 97-92 and 98-91 twice. As indicated by the judging, Paul mostly had his way with Diaz and dropped him in the fifth round, although Diaz answered the 10 count without issue.

After watching the fight, Hearn was underwhelmed to say the least.

“I’m watching that thinking this is so bad,” Hearn said this week on “The MMA Hour.” “The reason that Nate didn’t get stopped is because Jake doesn’t know how to break a fighter down, cut off the ring, beat him up, and stop him. But I give my props to Nate – super tough. But you’re talking about low, low level in terms of standard.”

Diaz caught wind of Hearn’s comments and responded Friday in classic Diaz fashion with a social media diss.

Eddie Hearn I’ll beat all ur fighters asses
Lightweight middleweight Heavyweights any weight all of them will get fucked up
And unless it’s complimentary keep my name outta your mouth cause u might get it also

And fighters check your promoter so he doesn’t get uguys punked 👋

It’s unclear what Diaz, 38, will do next in terms of fighting as he remains free to sign with whomever he chooses following his departure from the UFC earlier this year.
