MEXICO CITY – Paul Craig beat Vinicius Moreira with a first-round submission Saturday on the preliminary card at UFC on ESPN+ 17 in Mexico City.

“I feel about 2,000 and a half meters above sea level – that’s how happy I am. I didn’t expect it to be that quick. I expected for it go a little bit longer. But I’m glad that I got the position and this result. ”

“I’m hopeful that this performance will get me my next contract and you’ll see me (in the UFC) in 2020.”
Craig on what he wants next
“I would like some time off, but whenever your boss tells you it is time to fight, it is time to fight. Hopefully by the end of the year. If it is not that soon, I would love to get a fresh start in the new year in 2020.”
