PFL 2019 playoffs set for three October events in Las Vegas

After four months of regular-season action, 44 fighters have carved out spots in the PFL Season 2 playoffs.

MMA Junkie has learned from PFL sources the company will hold a trio of events at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, with fighters across six divisions vying for a spot in the tournament finals and a $1 million prize.

Welterweight and women’s lightweight bouts will take place Oct. 11; featherweight and men’s lightweight bouts happens Oct. 17; and light heavyweight and heavyweight will go down Oct. 31.

Quarterfinal and semifinal fights in all divisions except women’s lightweight will happen on the same card; the women’s lightweight playoffs are a four-women tournament and semifinal bouts will occur.

Finalists all advance to the championship rounds, which will be held at a time and date TBD.

Here’s the full card for PFL 7, which features the women’s lightweight and welterweight divisions.

Glaico Franca vs. Andre Fialho (welterweight quarterfinal)
Sadibou Sy vs. Ray Cooper III (welterweight quarterfinal)
