Ray Borg vs. Ricky Bandejas booked for Eagle FC 46
Ray Borg is making a quick return to the cage.
The former UFC title challenger and now Eagle FC fighter has been given his next assignment. Borg (15-5) is set to take on Ricky Bandejas (15-6) on March 11 at Eagle FC 46 in Miami.
Eagle FC founder Khabib Nurmagomedov announced the news on Friday.
Borg is coming off a successful debut at Eagle FC in late January. “The Tazmexican Devil” defeated former UFC fighter Cody Gibson via unanimous decision. The 28-year-old is on a two-fight winning streak since his UFC release in 2020, and he’s 4-1 in his past five bouts.
Meanwhile, Bandejas is coming off a decision win over Alan Cantu Garcia in an alternate bout for Copa Combate in December. He’s 2-1 since his Bellator release in 2020. Bandejas is famously known for his highlight-reel KO of of then undefeated Irish fighter James Gallgher at a Bellator event in 2018.
