UFC 282 video: Press conference faceoffs with Paddy Pimblett vs. Jared Gordon, Till vs. Du Plessis, more
LAS VEGAS – The UFC 282 pre-fight news conference took place Thursday and the final five matchups on the card were in attendance to answer questions.
At the conclusion of the festivities, the entire main card, which airs on pay-per-view, and the featured prelims, which air on ESPN2 and ESPN+, participated in some traditional staredowns.
The vacant championship headliner was locked in, but so were the remaining pairings, including a lightweight co-main event of Paddy Pimblett (19-3 MMA, 3-0 UFC) vs. Jared Gordon (19-5 MMA, 7-4 UFC); the featured welterweight bout of Santiago Ponzinibbio (28-6 MMA, 10-5 UFC) vs. Alex Morono (22-7 MMA, 11-4 UFC); a middleweight clash of Darren Till (18-4-1 MMA, 6-4-1 UFC) vs. Dricus Du Plessis (17-2 MMA, 3-0 UFC), and lastly, a featherweight bout with Bryce Mitchell (15-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) vs. Ilia Topuria (12-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC).
