Aguilar pushing Esquibel back with a jab, then follow up with a combo before attempting to push into the clinch. Esquibel circles off and takes the same approach. Very set pattern which neither fighter has broken. Aguilar just short on knees off Esquibel combos. She strikes into the clinch, then grabs a leg and pushes to the fence. Knees, and Esquibel breaks off. Aguilar won’t let her escape, but Esquibel turns her against the fence. Knees from both. Esquibel fires off a knee and breaks out. Short combinations in close, and Aguilar again with the knee. They both land right hands. Teep pushes back Aguilar. Hard combination and both score. Trading right hands over and over. Aguilar with a hard right knee to the head. Esquibel won’t quiet, and dips for a takedown. Aguilar sees it and pushes into the clinch. Esquibel frames a knee and then breaks off. They’re trading hard and fast as the frame ends. MMAjunkie scores the frame 10-9 for Esquibel, and Aguilar should get it 29-28. Wouldn’t be surprised if judges give same score to Esquibel, though.
