UFC on ESPN+ 13: Winning just two weeks prior had John Allan dialed in for UFC debut

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – John Allan beat Mike Rodriguez with a unanimous decision Saturday night to close out the preliminary card at UFC on ESPN+ 13 in Sacramento, Calif.

Take a look inside the fight with Allan, who was the biggest underdog on the card after stepping in on short notice to replace an injured Gian Villante.

“I’m accomplishing my dreams. I’ve worked really hard to be here. He was going to do everything he could to take this from me. I knew that the first round was very close. I knew I needed to go out and win the third round impressively.”

“I fought only a few weeks ago and I won by knockout, so I felt really prepared to fight a guy like him on short notice. I look forward to fighting in the UFC again.”
