Nice body shot counter as Bontorin pursues. Bibulatov is the more accurate fighter as they trade shots, but he still pushes a takedown against the fence. He beats the body with punches and knees with less than two minutes to go. Bontorin peels off with a right hand and tries to get free. Bibulatov lets him go, and Bontorin lands another left. He misses on a kick catch and winds up fending off a takedown. He pushes Bibulatov to the cage and then exchanges in close, going to the body. They clinch up again, and a whizzer puts Bontorin in position for the choke again. Sitting against the fence, he’s got one hook in and goes for the tap. Bibulatov turns to avoid trouble and rides it out for the final bell. MMAjunkie scores the frame 10-9 for Bibulatov, who gets the 29-28 nod.
