If you thought Colby Covington was going to back down, you thought wrong.
Once again, the former UFC title challenger has taken to social media to double down on the insane stipulations he placed on Ian Machado Garry in order for them to fight each other.
Garry (14-0 MMA, 7-0 UFC) called out Covington (17-4 MMA, 12-4 UFC) last month following his win over Geoff Neal at UFC 298. A month later, Covington responded saying that Garry needed to do the following three things: Open up his Instagram comments, have Garry’s wife and manager Layla beg him to fight Garry, and also having her featured in one of his fight prediction videos for his betting sponsorship.
This, of course, triggered a video response from Garry, who refused to do any of the stipulations Covington put in place. Now, Covington has doubled down, saying those three things need to happen in order for him to accept a fight with the Irishman.
