Video: Does Marvin Vettori have case for next title shot after UFC on ABC 2?
UFC middleweight Marvin Vettori continued his winning streak this past Saturday at UFC on ABC 2, defeating Kevin Holland by unanimous decision at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
For Vettori, that makes it five wins in a row since July 2019 – against the likes of Cezar Ferreira, Andrew Sanchez, Karl Roberson, Jack Hermansson, and Holland. Vettori’s last defeat? An April 2018 split decision to current champion Israel Adesanya.
With Vettori surging and his competition increasing, talk of a title shot vs. Adesanya has grown louder. But does he truly have a case at this moment? Our “Spinning Back Clique” panel of “Gorgeous” George Garcia, Brian “Goze” Garcia, Nolan King, and host John Morgan answer.
