This past weekend at UFC on ESPN 28, Sean Strickland scored a dominant win over Uriah Hall to announce himself as a real contender in the middleweight division. This post, unfortunately, isn’t about his performance.
Following his win, Strickland raised eyebrows when he said – with a straight face – that he “would love nothing more than to kill somebody in the ring” and it would make him “super happy” if he did. Now, it’s worth noting that this comment came just after a discussion on masturbation and just before declaring himself a psychopath. But still, that’s a heck of a thing to say considering death inside the cage is possible but something nobody should wish upon any fighter.
