Video: Watch Conor McGregor’s full UFC 246 octagon interview

Conor McGregor returned in major fashion at UFC 246.

In his first fight since October 2017, McGregor (22-4 MMA, 10-2 UFC) reentered MMA with a bang. Former UFC double champion McGregor took on Donald Cerrone in the main event, finishing the multiple promotional record-holder by TKO just 40 seconds into the fight.

After the conclusion of Bruce Buffer’s official decision announcement, it was McGregor’s turn to talk on the microphone. Largely, McGregor kept with his recent theme as a humble, respectful athlete. He complimented Cerrone (36-14 MMA, 23-11 UFC), thanked his family and friends, plugged Proper No. Twelve whiskey and analyzed his shoulder strike technique.

Would it really be a McGregor post-fight interview without taking a jab at future opponents? Nope.

“Any one of these little mouthy fools can get it,” McGregor said. “Even that little fool at the desk (Paul Felder) – all of them. Every single one of them can get it, Joe. It does not matter. … Look at that fool and his housecoat (Jorge Masvidal).”

UFC 246 took place Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card aired on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and early prelims on UFC Fight Pass/ESPN+.

Anthony Smith knows he’s not currently in the title picture, but hopes he gets an opportunity to face Alex Pereira some day.
